"Once I went through and did the floorplans with them, I could really envision myself in these homes," he says. "And yeah, that got me started."

Tom is clear about what matters most to him in a home. "I'd say definitely the main reason is the lifestyle around here," he explains. "There's a lot going on. Very busy. Close to the beach and all the shops you could want."

What He's Looking Forward To

Ask Tom what he's most excited about, and he doesn't hesitate. "My favourite rooftop facilities will be the basketball courts," he says with a grin. "I love to have a shoot around, so it'll make it very easy to access."

And when moving day finally comes? "The first thing I'm looking forward to doing when I'm moving to Soleira is watching the sunsets and sunrises on the rooftop."

His Advice to Other First Home Buyers

Tom's message to anyone sitting on the fence is refreshingly straightforward.

"My main advice as a first-time buyer to other first-time buyers would be just making the jump. The hardest part is that first stage, and once you get started and get the ball rolling, then it all works out well."

He's also quick to credit the team for making the process less daunting than he expected. "They've made it really easy and really welcoming into buying for a first-time buyer," he says.
