Our Foundation
The Sherpa Foundation
We believe a home should do more than shelter the people who live in it. It should strengthen the community around it too. From the very beginning, Christie believed that developing well meant more than delivering exceptional apartments. It meant investing in the places, people, and organisations that make the Gold Coast worth living in. The Sherpa Foundation is how that belief becomes practice and it's built into the way we do business, quietly and consistently, project after project.
Ways We Contribute
Flourish Settlements
A portion of every settlement is directed automatically to the Sherpa Foundation, so community investment isn't something we do alongside our developments, it's part of how they're built. When you buy with Sherpa, part of your home purchase is invested back into the local community.
Directed to Local Causes
We partner with Gold Coast and Brisbane organisations doing work that matters: housing support, education, community wellbeing, and the local services that hold a place together. We choose partners whose mission reflects our own, ideally in the same suburb or adjacent suburbs.
Less Golden Shovels
You've probably seen the ritual: a developer gathers the press, hands out ceremonial gold shovels, and marks the start of construction with a lot of fanfare. It's tradition, but it's never really felt like ours.
We'd rather put that money to work. So instead of a shovel and a photo opportunity, we take what would have been spent on the celebration and give it to a local cause.

Palm Beach Boardriders
The Palm Beach Boardriders is an iconic, community-based surfing club on the Gold Coast. Established in 1968, it focuses on developing local junior and adult surfers for competitive careers while fostering strong community ties through local competitions, coaching programs, and social events.
On behalf of Palm Beach Boardriders, we would like to thank Sherpa for their support. This partnership will help provide our growing youth membership with the resources they need to further their skills.”
Dan Binskin, President of Palm Beach Boardriders
Our three-year commitment to Palm Beach Boardriders Club helps keep the club running day to day, gives its junior development program the backing it needs to grow, and keeps local competitions on the calendar.
