Sherpa Group Fast-Tracks Construction for $68 Million Flourish Oasis

Sherpa Group has received formal approval from Gold Coast City Council, allowing construction to move forward on its $67 million residential project, Flourish Oasis, a meaningful next step in the ongoing evolution of Palm Beach.

Set across 7 and 9 Sixth Avenue, Oasis continues Sherpa’s reshaping of the suburb, responding to a clear need for quality residential options in a market where demand continues to outpace supply. Designed to deliver strong comparative value, the project has already resonated with buyers, achieving over 50 per cent sales shortly after launching earlier this month.

For Sherpa, the approval marks more than a planning milestone. It signals momentum and responsibility in contributing to one of Australia’s most dynamic coastal communities.

“We are so grateful to have received the green light for Oasis, which means we can now direct our attention to commencing construction on a major project for Palm Beach as it transforms,” said Sherpa Group Founder Christie Leet.

Over the past five years, Palm Beach has quietly reinvented itself, attracting a new generation of lifestyle-driven buyers while retaining its local character. Oasis has been designed with this balance in mind, as a boutique collection of 47 light-filled, two- and three-bedroom corner apartments that support downsizers, families and first-home buyers alike, all seeking an elevated yet grounded coastal lifestyle, with apartments starting from $990,000.

At the heart of the project is a rooftop sanctuary that feels less like an amenity list and more like an extension of daily life. From the pool and gym to the sauna, steam room, spa and hot-and-cold plunges, every element has been considered to encourage rest, connection and wellbeing.

With lifestyle buyers continuing to flow into the area and a shortage of new developments, Palm Beach remains one of the Gold Coast’s most undersupplied suburbs, requiring more than triple its current housing supply to meet demand. Oasis responds not by overbuilding, but by building homes that feel considered, liveable and enduring.

“Palm Beach has such a unique and special character, and we hope to build on that, creating homes that locals are proud of,” said Mr Leet.

Oasis forms part of Sherpa’s broader Flourish story, alongside projects including Amargo, Ovana and a future site at 1156–1164 Gold Coast Highway. Together, they share a common purpose: delivering attainable, lifestyle-focused homes that allow locals to remain priced-in as the Gold Coast continues to grow.

With construction now underway by LPS Group, Flourish Oasis is expected to be completed by late 2027.
